Have you been to The National List’s website lately? If not, you’ll want to check it out! When you do, you might think you’ve entered the URL incorrectly. Do you see a handsome collection professional holding a laptop with the words “Your Link” to the left? If so, you’re on the right page! If you take a closer look, you’ll see that much more than the Home Page graphic has changed. You’re welcome to click on the various links and see for yourself, but we thought it might be helpful to provide you with a short tour of the changes we’ve been working on that will make your visits to our site more productive.
If you’re uncertain about anything on the site, in the top/left corner of every page you’ll find our new “Live Chat” icon. Just one click takes you to a form where you can type your question and a NL staff member will get right back to you. What could be easier than that! We would love to have you just say “Hello” when you’re visiting our site. Why not today?
Submit Claims in Two Easy Steps
It’s now even easier to submit a claim to a lawyer via our website. All it takes is two simple steps:
- Click on Register Claim(s)/Submit a claim to an attorney and Select an Attorney.
- Enter your claim information, add attachments and click Submit.
Each claim forwarded to an NL law firm member via our website is automatically covered by our $3.5 million Insurance Program.
All of the information under the new “Legal Resources” tab has been recently updated. A new “Legal Resource” is a digital version of the NL 2012 – 2013 Directory. We’re affectionately calling it the “eBook.” You need to register and login in order to have access to this information.
If you aren’t aware of our Compliance Program, you find information about it under the new Compliance tab. When you click on Compliance Options, you’ll see an easy-to-read options table. We now offer more options, one of which includes an on-site audit.
Shortcuts to Popular Destinations
At the very top/right, a new tab, “I Want to….,” has been added. With just a mouse-over or a click, you’ll see a list of the most common things a visitor to the site wants to do. With just one click you can be where you want to go without any searching around. The drop-down menus are new, too.

- Attorneys can add their LinkedIn profiles, professional blog and Twitter accounts to their listings.
- Many member law firms have submitted detailed profiles that help to ensure client/attorney matches are in the best interest of both.
- Quick Search: For your convenience and quick access, the two most popular search options, Statewide Coverage and City/State, are shown on the left column of every page. You can also click Advanced Search for other search options.
